The Vivo S1 has launched in India today, August 7. The global variant of the smartphone was released in Indonesia last month. The highlights of the device include a triple rear camera setup, a 4,500mAh battery, and an in-display fingerprint scanner. The smartphone is priced at Rs 17,999 for the base model.

VIVO S1 SPECIFICATIONS
The Vivo S1 features a 6.38-inch (1080x2340 pixel resolution) Full HD+ Super AMOLED display alongside a waterdrop notch. The smartphone is powered by the Helio P65 mobile platform, paired with up to 6GB RAM and up to128GB of internal storage. As for the fingerprint scanner, it resides under the display. The device runs Funtouch OS 9 based on Android 9 Pie.
In the optics department, the Vivo S1 sports a triple camera setup: a 16MP primary camera with an f/1.78 aperture lens, an 8MP secondary wide-angle lens with an f/2.2 aperture, and a tertiary 2MP depth sensor with an f/2.4 aperture lens. It also has a 32MP front camera for crisp selfies. 

The Vivo S1 is packed with a 4,500mAh battery in the global variant. Connectivity options include Wi-Fi 2.4G + 5G, Bluetooth v5.0, GPS/ A-GPS, and Micro-USB with USB OTG support. It will be sold in two colour variants, namely, Skyline Blue and Diamond Black.

As for the global variant, the smartphone was launched in Indonesia at IDR 3,599,000 (roughly Rs. 18,000). The Vivo S1 has been launched at a starting price of Rs 17,990 in India. The base variant, 4GB RAM + 128GB storage is priced at Rs 17,990. The other two variants, 6GB RAM + 64GB storage and 6GB RAM + 128GB storage have been priced at Rs 18,990 and Rs 19,990 respectively.
The Vivo S1 launch offers include 7.5 percent cashback on HDFC Bank debit and credit card EMI transactions, benefits worth Rs. 10,000 from Jio, Paytm cashback when using Paytm in shops, and additional 10 percent exchange value on Instacash. Offline partners include Reliance Digital, Poorvika, Big C, Lot, Sangeetha, Croma, and Vijay Sales.
The 4GB RAM variant will go on sale from tomorrow, August 8, while the other two variants will be made available in the future.
